Digidesign
has recently been named an Academy Award-winner for the design,
development and implementation of the Pro Tools Digital Audio
Workstation.
Avid
Technology announced that its audio division, Digidesign,
will
receive an Academy Award of Merit from the
Academy
of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
"The
statuette, which will be presented at the Scientific and Technical
Academy Awards on February 14, will recognize Digidesign for the design,
development and implementation of the Pro Tools digital audio
workstation."

At the 115th Audio
Engineering Society (AES) convention held in New
York in the Fall of 2003, Digi002 was named
"Best Digital Audio
Workstation Technology".

The studio consists of an
acoustically isolated, non-reverberant recording room,
a control room and a second recording room.
